1. Who we are
Rapid Nest provides short-stay accommodation and related guest services in Bengaluru, India. The legal/business name, registered or principal address, customer-care contact, grievance contact and applicable tax/registration details should be displayed on this website and invoices before production launch.
2. Data we collect
Depending on how you use Rapid Nest, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, requested or confirmed stay dates, number of guests, booking reference, communications, payment and transaction references, property/stay information, account information if accounts are enabled, and technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, security logs and cookies or similar technologies.
Where required for a confirmed stay or by applicable law, we may request identity or guest-registration information. We will not request more information than reasonably necessary for the stated purpose.
3. Why we use data
We use personal data to receive and respond to enquiries; communicate through phone, email, WhatsApp or another channel you choose; confirm, administer, modify or cancel reservations; prevent double bookings; provide accommodation and guest support; process or reconcile payments; comply with legal, tax, safety and record-keeping obligations; prevent fraud or misuse; secure the website; resolve disputes; and improve our services.
4. Enquiries are not confirmed bookings
Submitting an enquiry does not by itself reserve or block dates. A booking becomes confirmed only when Rapid Nest expressly confirms it. We may use the contact details supplied with an enquiry to contact you about that enquiry.
5. Consent and your choices
Where processing relies on consent, we seek consent that is specific to the stated purpose. You may withdraw consent by contacting us, subject to processing that remains necessary or permitted by law or to complete an existing transaction. Marketing communications, if introduced, should use a separate optional consent and provide an unsubscribe mechanism.
6. Sharing and processors
We may share necessary data with hosting/cloud providers, communications providers, payment processors, property operations staff, accountants or professional advisers, security/fraud-prevention providers and booking/channel platforms where needed to provide the service. We may also disclose information when required by law or a lawful authority. We do not sell personal data.
7. Airbnb and other booking channels
Availability may be exchanged with third-party booking platforms through calendar/iCal feeds or other supported integrations. Those platforms operate under their own privacy terms. Calendar feeds should contain only information necessary to manage availability and should not expose guest contact details.
8. Data retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for enquiries, reservations, accounting, legal compliance, fraud prevention and dispute handling. Unsuccessful enquiries should be deleted or anonymised when no longer needed. Confirmed booking and transaction records may be retained for legally required accounting or compliance periods.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards such as access controls, authentication, encrypted transport in production, password hashing where accounts are used, restricted administrative access and backups. No internet system can be guaranteed completely secure.
10. Your rights and requests
Subject to applicable Indian law, you may request information about personal data we process, correction or updating of inaccurate data, erasure where applicable, withdrawal of consent, and grievance redressal. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
11. Children
Rapid Nest is not intended to independently contract with minors. A person making a reservation must have legal capacity to enter the booking contract. If personal data of a child is required for a lawful stay, it should be handled only as permitted by applicable law and with the appropriate parent/guardian involvement.
12. Cookies and analytics
Essential storage may be used for security, sessions and website operation. If non-essential analytics, advertising or tracking technologies are added, the website should provide any notice/choice required by applicable law and this policy will be updated.
13. Grievances and contact
Privacy and data-protection requests can be sent to the privacy/grievance contact published on the Rapid Nest website. Before launch, replace this sentence with the actual responsible person's name/designation, email, phone and postal address.
14. Changes
We may update this policy when our services, integrations or legal obligations change. The current version and effective date will be published here.
